SHEFFIELD v FOXES, POSTPONED

NORTHAMPTON have seen another scheduled trip to Sheffield frustrated by the weather with the postponement of Thursday’s (June 11) fixture.

It’s the second time this season the Foxes have been due to race at Owlerton only for adverse conditions to force a call-off.

Details from Sheffield are below, and the next meeting for the Foxes will see them face the Tigers at Northampton International Shaleway next Thursday, June 18.

SHEFFIELD have made the early decision to postpone Thursday’s (June 11) scheduled home fixture against Northampton.

It’s the second time that the planned clash with the Foxes has been cancelled, but with heavy rain striking S6 on Wednesday with a worsening forecast also in place for Thursday, club chiefs have made the sensible decision to delay the head-to-head.

It means Northampton’s first trip to Owlerton will now be on Thursday, July 30 with a new date of Thursday, September 10 confirmed for the R2 fixture.
