RACEDAY UPDATE: FOXES v KING’S LYNN
NORTHAMPTON Foxes are building up to a big night of racing as they host their second home meeting against King’s Lynn tonight (7.30pm).
The Foxes opened in front of a huge crowd at Northampton International Shaleway last Thursday and are now looking to secure their first win.
But it won’t be easy as the visitors include World No.8 Max Fricke, who was statistically the best rider in the Premiership last season, whilst the ever-popular Chris Harris makes his first racing visit to the Shaleway.
The Foxes have called up Zach Cook and Lewis Kerr to stand in for injured duo Matej Zagar and Niels-Kristian Iversen, whilst skipper Nicolai Klindt goes into the meeting having received a massive boost.
Klindt has been frustrated by inconsistency so far in 2026, but last night he scored a six-ride 18-point maximum for his Championship club Redcar at title holders Poole.
Klindt said: “It’s definitely my best ever visit to Wimborne Road as an away rider, but I always love riding down at Poole.
“Six starts, six wins, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Slight changes made a big difference, so we hope this can continue over the coming weeks.”
Tickets for tonight’s meeting remain on advance sale until 5pm and can be purchased from https://northampton-speedway.com/tickets-hospitality . They will also be available on the night with cash and card options available. Gates open at 6pm.
