ELLIS HEADS TO MANCHESTER

RECENT Northampton signing Adam Ellis takes his place in the Cab Direct British Final at Belle Vue on Saturday (7pm).

Foxes fans not attending the National Speedway Stadium can keep a check on all the action live on ITV4 and ITVX from 7pm.

Ellis is a former winner of the event, having raced to a dramatic triumph in 2021 when he headed Dan Bewley and Charles Wright in the Final.

That enabled him to compete as a Wild Card in subsequent British GPs at Cardiff, and riders are fully aware that strong results in this meeting count towards next year’s World Championship qualification process.

Defending champion Robert Lambert will be favourite, with Bewley ruled out due to injury, but there are several other former winners including Chris Harris who has been in spectacular form in recent visits to Northampton International Shaleway for opposing teams.

Tickets for the Cab Direct British Final are available from https://www.bellevue-speedway.com/tickets . The event will be screened live on ITV4 and ITVX from 7pm and supporters are urged to spread the word for those who are unable to attend.
