RACEDAY UPDATE: THOMSON RULED OUT

NORTHAMPTON Foxes will be without Kye Thomson for tonight’s (Thursday) match at Ipswich.

The Australian, who has been ever-present so far in 2026, was involved in a heavy crash on Wednesday when racing for his Championship club Edinburgh at Poole.

There are no broken bones but Thomson needs to rest with general bruising and knocks to his leg and hip.

The Foxes will operate rider replacement in the No.2 position at Foxhall tonight, with all riders except No.1 Niels-Kristian Iversen entitled to take one of Thomson’s outings.
