NORTHAMPTON Foxes star Kye Thomson has been voted the Most Improved Rider across the whole Premiership in 2026.
Thomson, who was the club’s own Rider of the Year and has already agreed to return to the Shaleway next season, topped a fans’ poll run by British Speedway’s social media channels.
He collected 36% of the vote to edge out Belle Vue’s Tate Zischke, who was another of the big improvers in the Premiership this year.
Thomson was also nominated in the ‘Signing of the Season’ category where he finished third behind mid-season Belle Vue arrival Jason Doyle, and King’s Lynn’s teenage hotshot Cooper Rushen.
