FOXES LINK WITH HORIZON RADIO
NORTHAMPTON Foxes are delighted to announce an exciting tie-up with Horizon Radio who become official media partners of the club.
The arrangement brings together Northampton’s newest professional sports team and its new community radio station which is available on FM and DAB throughout the region.
Horizon Radio broadcasts a mix of music, local news and information relevant to the adult population in the town. The station is also committed to supporting local community groups and charities.
The station can be heard in Northampton on 104.7FM, on DAB digital radio, and online via Alexa (Horizon Radio Northampton), whilst programming is also available in neighbouring Milton Keynes on 105.5FM as well as DAB and online.
As part of the arrangement with the Foxes, speedway advertising will be heard during the day on Horizon Radio Northampton and Milton Keynes, along with sister station Revolution Radio which caters for the diverse ethnic communities of Northampton.
The Foxes will also be featured in Horizon Radio programme content via interviews and match reports.
Horizon Radio will have a key presence on racenights at Northampton International Shaleway including programme advertising and PA announcements, along with visits from the presentation team.
Chris Gregg, CEO of Horizon Radio, said: “We're really excited about teaming up with Northampton Foxes to bring the excitement of speedway to our audience across the region.
“We know a lot our listeners already follow the Foxes and we hope to get even more fans for the sport.”
Northampton co-promoter Paul Hunsdon said: “We are delighted to welcome Horizon Radio on board with the club, and we look forward to working together throughout the season.
“It’s really important for us especially as a new club to be able to connect with the local area, and our conversations with Horizon Radio have been highly constructive. It’s clear that it’s an arrangement which should benefit all parties.”
