Foxes Ready to Make Their Mark in 2026 Premiership Debut

The Northampton Foxes are set to roar into the Rowe Motor Oil Premiership in 2026—and they’re bringing serious firepower with them.

Leading the charge is Australian ace Jaimon Lidsey at No.1, backed by a heavyweight trio of former Speedway Grand Prix stars. Niels-Kristian Iversen, Matej Žagar and Troy Batchelor bring world-class experience and race-winning pedigree, giving the Foxes a formidable backbone from the off.

Danish racer Nicolai Klindt adds grit and leadership to the side, while Australian Kye Thomson and exciting British prospect Luke Harrison complete a dynamic line-up that blends proven quality with rising talent. Guiding the team is Chris Adams, continuing a proud speedway legacy as he takes the reins in Northampton.

Off the track, the Foxes have already turned heads with the unveiling of their bold new blue and orange kevlars—ready to light up the Northampton International Shaleway this season.

The action gets underway with two tough away fixtures at King’s Lynn (April 20) and reigning champions Ipswich (April 23), before the Foxes finally come home. April 30 marks a huge night for Northampton as the Witches visit Brafield for the club’s first home Premiership meeting.
